We reviewed this location of Malka and found some of the menu items underwhelming while others, such as the seasonal lamb item, to be “otherworldly.”

Following the success of the Upper West Side location, Shani opened Malka Dumbo in Brooklyn, NY. This kosher-certified restaurant offers a menu similar to its Manhattan counterpart, with daily changes based on seasonal ingredients. Signature dishes include the Malka schnitzel stuffed with mashed potatoes, among other mainstays.

Malka West Palm Beach

Miznon Restaurants
Miznon Times Square, New York
Located on Broadway between Herald Square and Times Square, this Miznon location converted to kosher in January 2024. The restaurant features a meat-only menu with popular items like overstuffed pita sandwiches and simple but great items like “green beans in a bag.” We reviewed this Miznon and enjoyed the food, but we felt the sandwich was not overstuffed; rather, it was a bit “anorexic.”

Miznon Bell Works, New Jersey
Miznon opened a kosher location at Bellworks in Holmdel, NJ. It is conveniently located off the Garden State Parkway and in a business center with a significant Jewish commuter base. This restaurant is under OU supervision and is approximately 30 minutes from Deal, NJ, and slightly more from Lakewood, N.J., which has quite a vibrant kosher foodie scene.

Mizonon Ramat Hachayal Tel Aviv
After the success of the kosher Miznon in Manhattan, the Mizonon in the Ramat Hachayal neighborhood of Tel Aviv went kosher.

Important Note on Need to Confirm Certification
It’s crucial to remember that not all Miznon locations are kosher. Diners should always verify the kosher certification of each restaurant before dining. The kosher Miznon in Times Square includes the word “kosher” on its marquee sign to distinguish it from non-kosher locations and also has a certificate.
